Our Quality System
As a custom contract manufacturer serving a range of industries, our clients’ quality objectives can vary widely, from full PPAP submissions with process capability studies and the reporting of key product dimensions and characteristics, to simple visual and functional inspections. So rather than a “one size fits all” approach, we have tailored our quality system to be adaptable and robust to most efficiently meet the unique needs of each and every client.
At the front-end of new projects, quality objectives and requirements are discussed and reviewed in detail. We collaborate to identify and document key product characteristics (KPC’s), and then implement the most appropriate inspection methods and protocols to ensure compliance and efficiency. Tolerance requirements and stack-ups are closely reviewed, and where appropriate, tooling is constructed “steel safe” to fine-tune critical features and center them as needed.

As quality objectives are defined, revision controlled documentation is prepared to clearly communicate the inspection processes, tools and frequency for each component we manufacture. These processes are then “locked down” – every technician must demonstrate knowledge and compliance of the specific job requirements prior to being allowed to access to the molding press controls, and cannot make machine adjustments outside of set parameters. Most importantly, our work instructions are readily accessible to our machine technicians via touch screens located at every molding press with training conducted regularly to ensure proficiency and routine cross checks to ensure compliance.
